Residents can join the new weekly walking/stroller group at Kamehameha Park in Kapaau beginning Feb. 3. Registration begins at 11 a.m., followed by the walk from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Residents can join the new weekly walking/stroller group at Kamehameha Park in Kapaau beginning Feb. 3. Registration begins at 11 a.m., followed by the walk from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

The activity is a great way to meet neighbors, build friendships and stay healthy. Groups consist of 5-8 people who walk together at least once a week for 10 weeks. Teams will be eligible to win prizes.

The walking moai works in partnership with Tutu & Me Home Visiting Program.
